If you want just sim and not VN, your main choices are:
Casual Romance Club - this one has to beimported from Japan and can't be downloaded, but it's H, so if you're into that this is what you want.
Summer Session - it's kinda short but it's very straightforward, you can dig right into getting the girls and not have to spend years trying to master it
Shira Oka - this is a long one and you will screw up a lot at first and fail horribly but there are eventually twelve diferent girls you can go for
The Flower Shop - it's half dating sim and half gardening sim
Most of the sims coming out in the near future that I know of are mostly intended for girls (Magical Diary, Lucky Rabbit Reflex)
There are also tons of flash ones online but most of them suck as you probably already know!
