So my sim was a teenager and he was dating the baby sitter, but when he turned to a young adult it says they are still dating, but wont let me do anything romantic. Usually for me, it's been the other way around, with the NPC aging up first! Anyway, yes, she *willI* age into young adult, and likely pretty soon. You can force it by asking her to come over for a visit, then turn on the cheat [testingcheatsenabled true] and shift-clicking on her to choose age transition. She may leave your house immediately, or she might stick around and visit, but either way, the next time she comes over she will be a young adult and the romance options will be available again.
Go into options and set the age setting to fast. She'll age up in a day or two (in the game) and then set the age setting back to normal or just turn it off :) hope this helpedWhat do you do if your sim on sims 3 is a young adult but is dating a teenager?
